BIRKENSTOCK

A creative study of the brand heritage through sensory experiences and tailoring workshops.

Since its beginnings, BIRKENSTOCK has been designing shoes that have become true design icons. On the occasion of the FuoriSalone 2024 in Milan, the "BIRKENSTOCK STUDIO", an exhibition and installation illustrating the history of the brand with a look into the future, will be held in the spaces of Via Meravigli 4 in the center of Milan.

The exhibition will show the public for the first time at Design Week the many highlights of BIRKENSTOCK and its most famous collaborations through models, samples, sketches, prints and designs that make up the DNA of the brand, which has conquered the casual, fashion and streetwear world throughout Europe over the years. The history and success of the iconic models and insoles will be told to the public through a variety of sensory experiences, including a barefoot trail on sand and grass.

The installation will come to life on 19, 20 and 21 April thanks to the presence of the shoe restorer and creative Jacopo De Carli, who will personalize the BIRKENSTOCKs of the participants applying the small jewelry and accessories.

19, 20 and 21 April 2024 the "BIRKENSTOCK STUDIO" installation at Via Meravigli 4 (M1 Cordusio).

Open to the public: Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (customised hours: Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.).
